Amazing

"I've never seen this before. It's amazing how your babies and body went from dangerous fluid levels to great levels. I don't know how this has happened, but I am glad and amazed." - UCSF doctor this morning.

Today was a typical day at UCSF. I had an 2 1/2 hour ultrasound where they measured all the babies, body parts, fluids and my cervix. After our ultrasound, we met with one of our doctors. I perfer this doctor over the other doctor we see.

When we were in our appointment, our doctor was amazed at how much the fluid levels have changed over the past three weeks. He explained that Aiden, (Baby A) will always be the bigger baby. He has more fluid then the others. His fluid has stayed the same amount as the previous week, which was 9.5 cm. Austin and Logan (Baby B and C) have around 6 cm now. Which is an improvement from 5.1cm  (baby B) and 4.5 cm (Baby C).

Friday, last week, I went to my doctor in Sac. They also did a growth scan. The babies at that point weighted:
Baby A- 2 pounds, 7 ounces
Baby B- 2 pounds, 1 ounce
Baby C- 2 pounds, 5 ounces
Total Babies Weight that I am carrying around = 6 pounds, 13 ounces
They are in the 87th percentile for singleton births. I really can't explain how this happened becuase I would have thought they would smaller then an average singleton at their development stage, but all three babies are bigger then an average singleton. Again, my doctors are amazed. (Must be the extra protein that I force myself to eat...and the big guy upstairs)

Today the babies weighted:
Baby A- 2 pounds, 8 ounces
Baby B- 2 pounds, 9 ounces
Baby C- 2 pounds, 5 ounces
Total Babies Weight that I am carrying around = 7 pounds, 6 ounces

I told my UCSF doctor their weights from Friday and he said that they use different machines then Sacramento, so their weights will be different from the different machine. But, the good news is...he said their weights are still above a singleton at this point and they are perfectly healthy. Another side note, he informed me that my uterus and tummy is bigger then a full term pregnant woman.

The other good news we received today is that we do have to go back to UCSF in 3 weeks only because my doctor wants to see the changes in me and these boys. He wants to see how much fluid they have then. He said its not a concern for me coming back, he just wanted to be able to see us again. I guess he has grown attached to these boys like all of us.

The other good news, is that today I'm 27 weeks. One more week away from 28 weeks and we hit our first goal and safety net! After 28 weeks, we are aiming for 32 weeks...then the last haul at 36 weeks. I don't know if I will make it to 36 weeks, but I will try and do anything possible to.

I don't know how we went from being scared of loosing a baby or two; to knowing all three are alright in the moment. All I can say is all of our prayers are continuing getting answered daily. Please continue to pray for our boys as they continue to develop for the next 9 weeks.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requent to God. -Philippians 4:6 (thanks for the reminder Rochelle- John's Cousin)...I have learned to let God control the destination for these boys, and there is a reason why I was choosen to have them...I just don't know yet!

Thank you for your support, prayers, meals along with my closer friends and family coming and entertainning me while John is at work. I really do not know how I would have survived the last 7 weeks without many of you!
