3 Ring Circus

With the trio's 3rd birthday approaching fast,
we had to figure out a theme for this year!

We wanted something fun and unique
for their 3rd.

It came down to a...
Three Ring Circus.
It only makes sense since; we have triplets who are three...
and we could have a little fun with the play on words.
And let me tell you...
it really was a circus in there!

Grandma Denise did all the balloon decor and the backdrop behind the boys table...
My Little Balloon company rocks and she's amazing if you ever need balloons!

I had fun creating the carnival games
and deciding to do tickets or not...
which we went with not.
Too many kids and
I wanted to make sure they just had fun instead of trying
to keep track of winning prizes or tickets.

The best thing I did was remove all toys from the playroom and set it up as a carnival in there.

Their party this year was a blast.
It flew by even though our timing was off on some activities.

John and I decided since it's a circus party,
we might as well hire a clown.

The clown was a great hit with all kids.
They loved the magic show and balloon art.

The kids and myself were shocked at how he used magic to make Hershey kisses...

Every year, the pinata gets better and better.
The boys get bigger and stronger
and they now get the idea!
It's fun to see the look in their eyes as the candy fell from the body-less clown...

These kids remind me of thanksgiving black Friday commercials where the shoppers are
pounding at the door saying "open, open, open"

This year, we didn't have the triplet table for the cake.
As we were setting up the tables,  John and I pictured and chatted about how the last two years our babies had their birthday cake in that table...
but now they moved on up to the big table.
It's kinda like Thanksgiving when there is a kid's table and once you reach "that age"
you graduate to the "adult" table...yeah...that moment just happened for them...

Cake eating is very serious around here...

The boys have been going to many friends parties recently and every time they would get
closer and closer to the presents. I would have to remind them that its not their party yet and they don't open the gifts. But today...they got to open their gifts. And..now after having all the toys opened they have been carrying around the Lightening McQueen cars ALL DAY. They are by their side while they are hammering away or building puzzles. The put the McQueen's car on top of other cars as they push and drive them around the house. They even went to sleep with them. Those were a hit!
A cool tent that Mimi made the boys! They love it too. Perfect for hiding from mom and dad!

Perfect books! Who knew they had triplet character books?
In two years this will be their story...giving their teacher trouble!

Big Boy Quads...Daddy pick the presents this year

The helmets were a gift from John's parents. I absolutely love them!!

Big Cousins helping the boys figure out how to steer their new ride!

Thank you to all who helped us throughout the day...
whether it was from picking up bottles and cans
to making sure crock-pots were filled at the Nacho Bar or taking pictures with our camera.
It wouldn't have been possibly without you all!

Everyone at the party knew how to "clown around" and have some fun!
The clown noses were a funny touch!

It was a great day to celebrate our trio's 3rd birthday.

Sometimes, I don't even know how we survived the last 3 years, especially lately,
but apparently we did.
All 5 of us! We made it.

So thank you to our family and friends who came from near and far to
celebrate Aiden, Austin and Logan at their 3 Ring Circus Party!
