I love winter.
It's my favorite season for many reasons...
Cold Weather.
Boots.
Scarfs.
Jackets.
Hot Coffee.
Skiing.
And my list goes on...
One of my fondest memories as a child was going up to our cabin in the winter.
My sisters and I would build snowmen on our deck then
run inside and drink hot chocolate.
When my parents divorced, they sold our cabin.
But, we are lucky the my grandparents own one down the street from our old cabin.
And now that my boys are old enough and out of winter preemie lock downs...
we finally took them up to my grandparents cabin for the weekend
to have some fun in the snow and spend time with family.
Logan reading a book to his brothers.
My how all five of these boys have grown up!
Squirrel!!!
A grumpy Aiden all over the type of gloves he had to wear. This is why I buy matching items often!
They loved it!
We played in the snow.
John taught them how to make snow angels.
Popsi and the boys kept having a snowball fight.
I think one of Logan's favorite thing was to throw the snowballs!
and....he loved to sneak up on us and throw snowballs right in front of our faces.
Logan had a great idea to get buried in the snow.
We went sledding with cousins.
I love all the sledding expression faces!
John and I were even able to escape away for the day to ski while Popsi and Granny watched the boys.
Spending time together as a family is what life is all about.
It's great to watch your children grow up loving and enjoying activities you did as a child.
I know many more memories will be made at our cabin as we enjoy wintertime this year.
