Jealousy

Jealousy has hit the Beck household.

The boys want what each other has.

They want who has each other.

 

Lately,

 Aiden has become the most jealous out of the trio.

Anytime, John's or my attention is on another boy,

he crawls over to us and tries to climb on our laps to get our attention on to him.

 

Since all three are pulling up and standing now,

toys are a thing in the past.

(For the most part.)

Standing is the new thing around here.

All three will pull up on anything and everything...

including mama's or dada's legs, Gunner and each other.

 

 

If Logan is standing on whatever he chooses too

and another brother comes to stand next to him,

he will push him down.

 

If mama is holding Austin

and Aiden looks over from across the room...

Aiden will truck himself over and climb on the other leg

shortly followed by Logan.

 

Out of the three,

Austin seems to be less jealous.

Maybe its because he sits with mama and dada a lot since he likes to be held.

Maybe its because he so happy all the time.

Maybe its because everything is just so simple and easy go lucky for him.

But I do know that Austin will find a toy and try to "hide" it from his brothers

so they won't take it.

He will turn around so his back will be at his brothers.

If he is near their playhouse or baby jail,

he will throw the toy inside of either.

If he up in the triplet table, 

and someone is after his toy,

he will throw it.

Maybe he's figured that since his brothers are trying to steal it then no one should have it if he can't.

I guess Austin has figured out the survival of the fittest around here.

 

 

All in all, this is a phase.

A phase that I'm sure will last their whole life.

I foresee the future with one or all three saying...

"Mom, he got more ice cream then me. You took him to the movies without us?"

and so on...

 

But for now,

I'll enjoy these precious moments of all three boys climbing on my lap to enjoy some mama time!
