Switch A Roo...

We all know the babies are on a schedule
and how much I like love schedules.

The boys were being fed a bottle basically every three hours.
5 bottles a day
Then throw in baby food and snacks throughout the day.
So..It seriously feels like all we do is change diapers and feed.

The boys are officially over GERD! YAY!
They still spit-up, but normal amounts, if any...
They have been gaining weight better then before...
Now they are officially on the growth chart...
even thou they are still underweight.
Last week at our 9 month appointment,
I asked our pediatrician if we could reduce our 5 bottles to 4
since they are gaining weight now...
This mama is getting sick tired of washing bottles.

"Logan has all the toys!"

I didn't want to start our new routine until I was on summer break.
I didn't want to change the current routine for my mother-in-law
since she is so fabulous with the babies.
So...Thursday was supposed to be the day.
But this past weekend, the babies led us to doing 4 bottles instead...
Karen tried out our schedule on Monday...
We made extra bottles just in case the boys wanted them...
But I have to say.
The boys adapted well.
They are true rockstars!
We are blessed!
They have been on their new schedule for a week
and it feels great to only give them a bottle every 4-5 hours.

Watching Daddy...from both views!

A little glimpse of our new routine.
6:30- Babies wake up...
6:45-Bottle
8:00- Breakfast
9:00- Nap
11:00-Bottle
1:00ish- Lunch
1:30- Nap- Depending upon if they want to take a nap
3:00-Bottle
5:00- Dinner
6:45- Bottle
7:00 Bed
Of course in between there is lots of cuddles, kisses, books and playtime-
which is now becoming climbing time!

On a side note: baby led weaning started.
The boys have been doing well.
I get nervous when I hear coughing...then their face turns red..
but then I remember...coughing is good.
That means their airways are still open.
They enjoy feeding themselves,
so now its onto trying other foods.

I'm also still working on the question and answer blog post..if you have any questions..please ask!

A typical afternoon after playing hard!
These boys move toys like no other...not looking forward to the next messy phase.
