Toddlers...
toddlers are so strong and fierce.
After a week-long battle of Aiden climbing out of his crib
and thinking he is a big boy...
we have surrender.
Yesterday afternoon was spent to baby proofing their room
and converting their cribs to toddler beds.
It was a task...
But after all the cribs were converted...
the boys enjoyed about two hours of playtime in their room while
we organized their clothing
and attached baby proof latches
on every door and drawer.
I thought that the boys would have been okay at nighttime
since they enjoyed jumping in and out of their beds earlier.
But I was wrong...
John attached the baby monitor on the wall,
which for some reason,
They were running and hiding from the monitor as it followed them.
At one point, I went upstairs to talk to them and
they were huddled all together in the corner with a terrifying look on their faces.
After calming them down, they got back into bed...
as soon as I left the room, they quickly ran to the door and there they laid down until
we went back up there due to them crying hysterically.

As soon as I opened the door,
they had such a worried look on their face and were pointing at the monitor.
I felt horrible.
Luckily, Karen was here to help.
We each reassured the babies by letting them play with the monitor
and soon they all went to their beds except for sweet Austin.
He stayed by the door until I went up a couple hours later and moved him into his bed.
I just couldn't let him sleep that way.
Good news thou...they slept through the night.
I went in around 7:30 and all three were still laying in a bed
(not their own, but that's no biggie)
and were all smiles when it was time to go downstairs...
Nap time today went a lot better then last night...
although Logan and Aiden slept together,
Austin found a bed.
They played for about five minutes before falling asleep...
I call that success!

I bet the boys love their new bit of freedom!
Next task- getting rid of paci's at nighttime...
