The funniest thing happened at our appointment. John and I were waiting for the OB doctor. When he came in the room...John was telling him...I can't believe it happened to us! Its still shocking sometimes. The OB said well..thats what happens..a baby is a formed and now its yours. John kept saying, but us..what makes us so special? I caught on that the OB dr didn't look at our chart yet (probably trying to get a feel for us first) and I finally pointed at him and looked at John. I said that I don't think he knows...John said he doesn't know...The OB said..what don't I know...then John said we are having triplets. OB said...wow! really...thats rare! Guess not reading charts can be fun sometimes too :)
OB did a typically exam...he wanted to check out our "so called" triplets for himself.
I finally put on 1 pound...hopefully the weight gain will stay with 1 pound per visit...
Once the wand was in...he saw it for himself and saw our instant family!

Baby A: 9 weeks, 3 days...strong heart beat

Lastly...Our Little One...BABY C...what will happen???
Baby C...9 weeks, 3 days...fast strong heart beat.
She's a fighter still! Oh! Baby C you amaze me! OB told us that Baby C will give be the difficult one...during the sonogram..she was moving and fluttering around. Her hands by waving up by her face...so precious our darling..who can't love that?
Can you believe in just a matter of three weeks the development of these babies?
As I look at these pictures, I know all three are meant for us.
Instead of John and Jo and a baby we are now a family of five...FIVE!
I know we will have our ups and downs...but at the end of the day...I have a loving and hard working husband, a wonderful hunting dog and three precious little ones that we will shape and mold to our best abilitiy.
