Babies First Christmas

Its hard to believe Christmas has already arrived.
Food, love, presents and laughter flowed through our three Christmases.
Magic arrived when Santa and family brought gift to different homes.

Christmas eve was spent with my aunt, uncle and cousins up in Sac.
Those five people were there during my pregnancy, hospital bed rest and
finally our time in the NICU.
Now they were helping us celebrate the babies first Christmas.
The house was filled with the smell of cookies..thanks to Liz.
Kristin was able to see and play with the boys.
Deborah (my sister) was able to meet her nephews for the first time.
They also got to meet Julie and Jen Lewis and Jose..
Trent was surrounded by four babies and didn't know what to do!

The triplets inched towards one another...Zach said...I'm outta here!

Christmas Eve is also the anniversary of my grandparents.
I don't know any other two people that are loving and kind towards each other more then them.
They are old-fashion.
Popsi still opens the door for granny.
He helps her with her coat.
He brings her breakfast in bed with coffee.
Granny keeps Popsi in line.
She cooks likes the olden days.
They complete each other.
Their love and dedication to each other and god amaze me every day.
Happy 63rd anniversary!
They came over to our house for dinner that night.

Popsi talking to Logan...
Growing up my grandparents always opened a gift...
Our parents allowed us to open one gift as well
So we are going to do the same for these boys...Christmas eve after dinner...
they got to open one gift too
Austin got to open it because the other two were sleeping...

I think I was more excited for this then him...
We needed some new toys in this house!

Christmas Morning:
I think John and I were more excited then the boys this year...
Austin slept through the presents.
Aiden and Logan helped out.
My dad and sister came over in the morning.
And the boys bought John his sweatshirt he really wanted...
They even wrapped it too ;)

Of Course...I washed his hands after playing with his money...
next year...Santa's bringing money

The wrap job the boys did

We went over to my moms for Christmas brunch.
Again the house was filled with love and joy for these kiddos.

Our first Christmas as a family of five was amazing.
The amazing part about it is that god gave us these three little Santa helpers!
Throughout the day, we kept saying,,
just wait for next year..
next year will be lots of fun...
But before we know it..
It will be next year
and we will have three little walkers who are learning about Christmas
and the true meaning...
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your family
like we did.
