What do you get when you mix three crying congested babies with a sick hubby?
Our first cold...and...
We survived.
Daddy brought home a cough and sore throat...
It was only a matter of time till they were exposed to new germs...
I got a sore throat, but took care of it right away and it cleared up two days later.
The boys got congested and fussy!
John was down for three days before he started to feel and sound better.
(even though he was still sick)
I was given a ton of advice
(thank you to everyone)
My mom came out for four days straight to help with the sick boys...
John stayed in our room to get well..
and the couch became my best friend!
I tried to keep my distance from him so I wouldn't get worse.
I soon found out the worse thing from having three sick babies is
not having enough hands or arms.
I'm not an octopus, even though at times I wish I had enough arms and hands.
It was hard to cuddle three babies that aren't feeling well
and trying to catch the germ flying around our house.
| After another long sleepless night! |
After using Lysol daily, exchanging blankets daily,
separating the boys into their own areas
we are now over our first cold.
Our favorite baby item...the sanitizer
As much as I hated them getting sick,
I am glad they got their first colds when I was still on maternity leave.
The boys seemed happier that I was home taking care of them.
Even though they were sick, they were cute as ever!
