September 11 brings many families heartache, memories and hatred.
In our home...September 11 brings joy, happiness and a complete family.
Exactly a year ago, we got a phone call in the morning telling us that Aiden is allowed to be discharged from the hospital.
We were complete.
All our precious babies were going to be safe in our arms.
We were a family of 5.
Aiden amazes me the most out of the three.
He was the last to come home, but the first out of the trio to meet many milestones.
He is the outspoken, inquisitive and the strongest brother.
He shares his toys with you.
He has learned how to give mom and dad people a "stink eye"
when he doesn't like what they are saying to him.
Its almost as if he tries so hard to be the "perfect one" to show his brothers that he is the oldest!
Happy Remembering your Homecoming Day Aiden.
My friend Loraine reminded me...
that they share a birthday but get their own special homecoming day.
That comment really touched my heart.
These boys are treated so much as a trio right now,
even John and I sometimes fall into that zone,
but we have to remember they are individuals and will come around on their own time.
Just like a typical baby.
Today marks a year of us actually surviving our first year in our house as a family of 5.
We are raising multiples.
Yes, its crazy.
Yes, we laugh and cry.
Yes, times are frustrating.
But we are loving life and cherish each moment we have with them.
Our not-so-much-any more 4 pound baby boy...try 20 lbs!
