Come and Cut

December has been a busy and crazy month in this household.
I am barely able to breathe because the holiday season has begun.
John has been working late nights-
life of a UPS driver
Our December is coming to an end.
To me...its sad because all the sparkle goes away once
people (including us) put away their Christmas decorations.
However, before December ends, I wanted to blog about a fun Saturday morning...

Some dear family friends have their own Christmas Tree lot.
Come and Cut Trees by Gordon and Loraine Nicholsons.

These two people are close to my grandparents.
I have known them since I was a baby.
Now, during church, Loraine often holds one of the boys.
I view them as second great grandparents to my boys.
They love them too!

We took the boy to visit their Christmas Tree farm.

Hey brothers- they let us out...we are FREE!!!

Runnn Runnn!!!

Loraine was showing Logan that not all Santa's were scary...
I hope she changed his little mind...

They loved visiting with the animals.

Logan absolutely loved the goats. If he could get into their cage, he would!
He might just be a veterinarian...he has such a deep love for animals at such a young age.
(Logan's in the orange monster hat)

And trying to pick their own tree...
well actually it turned into running down the paths between the trees.

After walking around and the boys not helping pick out their tree...
John made an executive decision and chose one that was their size.

It was a fun morning spending time with my family and close friends.
Next year, I think the boys might try and drag a tree out themselves.

Now, it was onto decorating their own tree with their baby friend Haylee...
Who would have thought that 16 month olds would be interested in decorating a tree?
Not me!
I thought they would knock the tree down since they love wrecking stuff.

Now for some mama fun with Aiden...

Who didn't think it was "fun"at all!

I will be sad when Christmas time is over.
If I could leave my decorations up year around I would...
but at least I have memories of these little silly monsters!
