After the lab results and the 24 hour urine analysis...
The doctor diagnosed me not having preclampsia.
My urine sample had 250 grams of protein where someone with preclampsia has 300 grams or more.
All my labs came back fine except for some uric acid...but its only slightly elevated.
What do I have then?
Why are they keeping me?
I have gestational hypertension...basically high blood pressure during pregnancy.
My blood pressure is all over the board.
It ranges between 113-158/65-85.
Dr. McElvy said that she was very pleased that I have managed to stay away from the hospital for this long.
Every morning the doctors do their rounds and check in with the patients.
Every morning the doctors have told me well...we want to watch you a couple more days...just a couple more days...
It wasn't until Monday, when Dr. Veille did his round and said that they decided to keep me until the birth of the babies.
On Tuesday, I was 32 weeks. That's amazing for triplets given the average gestational life inside the womb is 32 weeks before preterm labor starts.
This is why they want to watch over me...at any moment I can give birth to these boys due to my blood pressure not going down or having preterm labor.
So Far...so good...
