Happy Birth-Date!

 Monday- Week 31.7
Donna and Brooke stopped by on their way home from Tahoe.
Robyn and Mackenzie visited me..
I started reading my new book thanks to them :)
My cousin and her baby Trent...
who is a great little walker came by!

Tuesday-Week 32-
Dr. Veille did his daily rounds.
He said that the babies are completely okay and growing great.
He informed me that they decided on a date of our C-Section...
WE HAVE A DATE!
A day to meet our babies...
A day to celebrate their birth-day...
A day for all the suffering I have gone through to be over with..
The date is August 14.
That is our C-section.
That is when our boys will breathe air for the first time.
That is when...
John and I will become a mother and father "officially"
Its only two weeks away from Tuesday...
From today...12 days away...
Its crazy to think in 12 days...
our three identical boys will be here.
Of course...as everyone knows...at any moment
something can happen and they could be here earlier or later...
but a date is calming for us!

My mom came up.
Wednesday- week 32.2
Dr Veille made his rounds...
I asked him again about the C-section date to confirm it.
He made me laugh and said
Of course we can have Aug 14th as the boys birth-date.

Miriam and Josie stopped by. She read a book to me and truly surprised me.
Such a sweet girl with a big heart.
My grandparents were here.
Karen and Gary (John's parents) drove up after work as well..
They added to my safari theme room by giving me a robe...
the hospital gowns don't fit someone who is carrying triplets.
Besides the one my family have purchased me...which is also zebra print..
They decided that my whole body should by covered...
not just my front..

My blood pressure today was all over the place
because of my nerves and some sad news about a dear friend.
The babies are okay and so I am...

Today: Week 32.3
Dr Veille made his rounds.
He asked what was going on due to my
rocky blood pressures the previous day.
I explained what happened...
He order a blood test just to check on my liver, kidneys etc..
My blood pressure has gone back down and
I am trying to relax to keep it that way.
So far to date...(a week) I have been pricked 12 times with a needle..
but who is counting?

Again, I tripled check with the C-section date...
Apparently another Dr in the practice said that if everything continues to go well..
we will push the babies to another day or week...and
I was okay with that..
Well..it would be okay...
But August 14 is now stuck in my mind. I told Dr. Veille
I didn't agree with that...but again,
if everything is going well...then we might have a new date...

This is the hard part of this pregnancy so far.
We've been through so much...and now there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I just want to have healthy babies and will continue to do whats best.
I just want to finally meet these little fellow and start being a little family.

I had my IV replaced today and it wasn't too bad, to be honest.
and much better from last Thursday.
I still don't like it, but the lady changed it out with only 1 prick..
I will request her next time!

I got my blood results back and
everything came back normal except for my
platelet count...
Its a little lower then normal.
The doctor said he is going to have me do another blood test tomorrow
to re-check my platelet count.

Tomorrow is our next big growth ultrasound scan.
I'm continuing growing and these babies are too...
I think I have some 4+ pound babies in me!
Which would be Fantastic!

God and my friend are watching over these babies...
He is up there protecting and making sure they stay in as long as possible...
I just wish that my friend could have meet these boys because
I know how excited he was!
Reuben...your in my heart...
Liz and GG- your in my prayers and heart as well.
